2017 Golf Croquet European Championship

The championship will be held in Spain from Wednesday, 24 to Sunday, 28 May.

The venues will be Real Club de Golf Vista Hermosa in Puerto Santa Maria (near Cadiz) and the Real Club Pineda in Seville, with a total of six lawns.

Format

Block stage.  There will be four all-play-all blocks of eight players.  The top four finishers in each block will qualify for the Championship knock-out.  The bottom four will qualify for the Championship Plate.  Matches will be best-of-three 13 point games and are likely to be double-banked and subject to time-limits.

Championship knock-out.  Matches will be best-of-three 13 point games and some may be double-banked and subject to time limits although this will be avoided if possible.  First-round losers will qualify for the Championship Bowl.  Losing quarter-finalists will qualify for the Championship Shield.  Both Bowl and Shield will be knock-outs and will be either 19 point games or best-of-three 13 point games.  There will be a 3rd/4th play-off.

Championship Plate.  There will be two or four all-play-all blocks depending on the number of entrants.  Matches will be single games and are likely to be double-banked and subject to time-limits.

 

 

 

 

2017 Association Croquet European Championship

The championship will be held in Sweden from Friday, 11 to Sunday, 13 August.

The venue is Stavstorp Croquet & Tennis Club in Eskilstuna.

The entry will be limited to 16 players.
